September has arrived!  High school sports are in full swing.  The action is flying, and the shutter is clicking.  You can hire me in two ways—through game action on MaxPreps.com or directly for a team or individuals on my website.

Many people ask what is MaxPreps?  It is a nationwide photography service staffed by highly qualified freelance photographers to capture high-school sporting events. 

The Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) uses MaxPreps as its official photography service. They do this because MaxPreps has strict quality standards for capturing and publishing galleries.  Equal coverage across participating teams is also a requirement.

Beyond sports, I start to photograph my senior clients in September as the weather changes.  This year, I had the opportunity to kick off the season with the joy of capturing an individual for the second time.  I ventured up to Flagstaff with some friends to photograph their son at college.  The last time I photographed him was his senior year at Basha High. 

His personality has really blossomed through the college environment.  It was neat to see how his personality has come into its own as he's prepared to enter the workforce in the spring.
