Behind the scenes - March 2025

March has arrived.  With it comes several annual rituals. 

Birthdays: Strange fact: I know a person for almost every day of the month. 

Spring Training: Go Cubs!  Go Dbacks!

Senior Portrait Season: March brings a fresh crop of excited high school and college seniors looking forward to graduation and transition in May.  The clients who come to me are looking for a photographer who is relatable, will capture them authentically, and focuses on results based on what they value.  

So why does March make a great time for senior portraits?

Color is rampant: Green trees and grass, brown mountains, spring flowers ranging from violet to orange to yellow.  Blue skies with clouds. 

Temperature: The days are in the 80's, the nights in the 60's. 

Spring Break: No pressure of classes to drain your brain while you're enjoying photos.

I recommend grabbing your allergy medicine, plenty of water, and heading out with me to get some striking backgrounds while it's very comfortable and relaxed.
